Tom Parker Bowles is the son of Prince Charles’ wife Camilla, and an Internationally Renowned Food Writer. Tom was born in 1974 and whilst at Eton College cemented his love for writing and food, entertaining his room mates with gourmet dinners and parties. 

He cut his teeth as a junior publicist for Dennis Davidson Associates Public Relations firm and a career in the industry beckoned. His first book, published in 2004, was E Is For Eating – An Alphabet of Greed. His next, The Year of Eating Dangerously, was published by Ebury in October 2006. He’s his third, Full English; A Journey Through the British and Their Food was published in 2009. It won the Guild of Food Writers 2010 award for best work on British food. His next book, Let’s Eat, is a compendium of his favourite recipes. Collected from around the world, and written with the amateur cook in mind was published in 2012. 

For the past 10 years, Tom has remained firmly in the industry as a food writer and broadcaster. Working with The Mail on Sunday as their Food Critic, Contributing Editor at GQ and Food Editor at Esquire magazine. Tom is also an established presenter and from 2007 to 2010 he co-presented Market Kitchen with Mathew Fort and Matt Tebbutt on the Good Food Channel (UK). Tom was a judge on Food Glorious Food on the ITV Food another UK Network, and Masterchef BBC.

Whilst in Australia he judged on the cooking series The Hot Plate with Scott Pickett on Channel Nine. More recently co presented two seasons of Family Food Fight with Matt Moran and Anna Polyviou. Tom has also ventured into beer and snacks with the launch of Mr Trotter’s Great British Pork Crackling and Mr Trotters Chestnut Ale, the UK first chestnut beer. In partnership with food writer Matthew Fort and farmer Rupert Ponsonby they have continued to develop and expand the Mr Trotter’s range.
